I went to see the movie Mama Mia with this group of ladies at the end of July. It was kind of a fare well to Acsa (in green, back row, second from the right) who moved with her husband and kids to Wisconsin days later. Mary Beth took the picture and just emailed it out upon their return to China (she is in the middle, brown bobbed hair, black and yellow top.) My good friend Jennifer came with me -- she's standing right in front of me (can you find me?!?) The movie was a bit risque (No surprise!) but I couldn't help myself from singing along and enjoying most of it. We really did have a great time! There was only one man in the whole theater...what a saint...

I didn't realize there was even one man there! He must have been on a date (not a date with his wife, because I think most husbands would have said no to that!)
Pierce was really straining on the singing. He pulled it off, but...
Meryl Streep, on the other hand, was amazing. I didn't even notice whether or not she could sing, she's just an amazing actress and seemed to have had such a great time making the movie. If the whole thing were awful, it would have been worth seeing her. (But it wasn't awful, it was tons of fun)
