We've started out the semester with some fun field trips: ice skating, the planetarium, a museum of local history in an old courthouse (can't say the name as I don't want to give out our location on the web), and in a week we will return to the symphony for a program aimed at younger kids, so hopefully N. will enjoy that.
A. is about to receive his Arrow of Light and bridge to Boy Scouts...that is just so hard to believe, the time has flown! I. is getting ready for the Ebony Music Legends tour with the Little Stars which starts up next week. I think they will be performing in 4 or 5 schools, but I'm not sure yet. I only have the info needed to get us to the first show. N. has also been going to Little Stars as well, we'll see if she'll participates in the performances or not. Also, A. and I. have begun piano lessons this week! We didn't buy a piano, just a keyboard. Everyone in the house is having fun playing it, it's like Christmas part II.
We started up at our co-op again two weeks ago. This Friday will be week 3 and I am enjoying teaching this semester -- a state history class for 1st through 3rd grades. I. is in my class, which is fun. The kids are taking a good variety of subjects and we really look forward to seeing our new friends on Fridays. It's a very busy day, but each minute is well spent.
That's the latest scoop.
