It is always hard to believe how fast kids grow, but this blows me away. I cannot believe it was three years ago today that our little baby was born! She's obviously not a little baby anymore. It seems like just yesterday I. was turning three and N. wasn't even here yet! I am so amazed at the miracle of life and how a child can go from a helpless newborn to such a "big kid" with a blossoming personality in relatively little time. More proof to me that there is a Creator with a special purpose for each life.
Opening presents first thing in the morning...she was so excited that she got the Dora the Explorer movie she asked for!
The cool fairy tent in the background was her "big" present from us today. The girls playing dress up with N. are her best friend Abby and Abby's big sis Katie. The three of them play really well together.
After some dress up and tea party time at home, we all went to McDonalds for lunch and play time. N. loves McDonald's but we hardly ever go inside to play, so this was really fun for her. She is wearing the new top Nana sent for her birthday gift.
The two best buddies enjoying ice cream together! (Instead of cake...we will have cake at her big party on Saturday!)
