Here are a few pictures I took yesterday after school:

When the frustration of homework is just too much, A. whips off his shirt and starts swinging around his lightsaber... (fourth grade is kicking our butts so far!)

The girls love swinging together in the back yard. Notice the matching pony tails -- they were testing out some new hair baubles that I bought them.
By the way, in the back ground are our "miracle trees" -- we had planned on having them moved and replanted since last year, but for some reason it was hard to get scheduled. We talked to the man who takes care of our yard months in advance of it actually getting done. Well, he came to move them on a day last July that turned out to be somewhere above 105 degrees. It had rained the day before so he thought the ground would be soft, but didn't plan on the high temps. It was hard work for him, and mucho dinero for us -- we were all concerned that the trees wouldn't make it! Well, I baby sat them with the hose and prayed and now all six crepe myrtles are thriving! They are actually ready for some pruning...

I'm not a fan of homework this year either!!!
Maybe D & I should take a tip from you on homework! Kindergarten handwriting is kicking our tails, too!
Could I borrow his light saber? hehe
