Last Sunday we went to a minor league ball game. It was soooo hot -- the high that day was 102 or 105, depending upon which newscast you listen to. We went to an evening game and were in the shade, which was our saving grace. The game was rather dull, there were hardly any hits. I'm sure the players were affected by the heat. The park is fun and very family friendly, it isn't too big and they have a play ground for restless kiddos. We went with our Sunday school class and their families, so we had good sized crew and a really good time. A. and I. were having fun hamming it up and "modeling" sunglasses belonging to a teenager in our group.
