A proud dad/son moment!
A. has had alot going on this past week. For starters, he got his braces off on Thursday morning. He looks more like a 12 year old than a 9 year old with his super straight teeth! His requests for previously forbidden food to eat in celebration were laffy taffy and popcorn.
On Saturday, A. had a soccer double header. They won the first game (which I missed -- F. was there) and lost the second (which the girls and I watched). Yesterday they played in the playoffs and won -- A. scored 3 of the 4 goals and I missed it again! I had taken N. home so she could get a nap in...argh, I never see him score. Once again, F. was there.
This evening A. played in the championship game and his team WON in overtime! Woo hoo! I got to see about half of that game, due to delays and the fact that I had to take I. to Little Stars and didn't go back because N. was wired and hungry. By the time we left, dropped off, drove back, parked, and walked in I figured all would be over. The delay really threw us off, but F. was able to be there for the whole thing...see proud papa pic above.

Awesome! Go Andreas! Didn't he just get his first goal this season?? Sounds like it clicked!
What I would give for some Laffy Taffy! You go, Andreas! You are right, he does look so much older.
