Surprise!!!

This morning we were lounging around in our PJs and I was doing some vacuuming.  There was a loud knock on the front the door and I just couldn't imagine who it would be.  I looked out the window but didn't recognize the car out front so I cautiously went to the front door.  I pulled back the curtain on the window by the door and there to my great surprise was  my dear friend Mary Beth fresh off the plane from China!!!  She, her husband, and 3 kids moved to China the day we left for our Florida vacation at Christmas time.  I knew she was due to return sometime this week (she and the kids are spending the summer here) but I didn't expect to see her so soon!  They had arrived late last night and here she was on my door step!  I think I screamed and laughed hysterically all at once.  The kids all came running.  Isabel jumped into MB's arms, and Naomi was a little shy because she didn't remember her.  Andreas wandered in cooly but I could tell he was pleased to see her.  She looked great, no-one would ever guess she had just flown across the world with three young sons!  It was so great to see her and we're all so glad to know they'll be close by for a little while.  What an unplanned treat for a Monday morning!  I laughed about it all day.
