Inventors Wax Museum

Here is a picture of Andreas as Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille alphabet, at his school's third grade Inventors Wax Museum. It was held at school last Friday, the 9th. He did research, wrote out the Braille alphabet which I laminated, and came up with a script. I went to Goodwill and did my best to find him a suitable costume (mid 19th century, French). Each child in each class had their own station at their desk. They each made a button that the guests were to "press", and they would give their talk. It was great, lots of creativity was flowing. My friend Linda took this picture, all I had was my camera phone and my picture didn't turn out nearly this well! Andreas did a really great job with this project -- and so did the other kids.
