Fabian's trip the New Orleans area with FUMCC

Fabian went to Slidell, LA March 9 through the 15th with a group of men from our church.  They were given the assignment of building a wheel chair ramp on a home, pictured here.  The recipient arrived home just as they were finishing up the project and according to the guys, he was very grateful and appreciative.  Fabian said it was a great trip.

The guys stayed at a church which coordinates work and hosts group from all over the country who help with Katrina-related work.  The area has been about 85% renovated and cleaned up after the hurricaine of 2005.  Our church has sent teams down to help each year since the disaster, this was Fabian's first trip.
